Zoe Dimopoulos (she/her)
Arts Cohort Teaching Assistant
Zoe is a fourth year Bachelor of Arts student Majoring in History, but hopes to one day become a teacher. She loves reading, writing, and learning, and has the awesome opportunity to hone those skills by also working for Supplemental Learning and the Writing Centre! If she’s not reading or working on schoolwork she spends her free time playing soccer and swimming. Zoe has lived her whole life in Kamloops, but she’s spent lots of time in Vancouver and Victoria and would one day like to move to the coast or the island.

Lauren Schneider (she/her)
Arts Cohort Engagement Leader
Lauren is a second-year Bachelor of Arts student. After studying a variety of subjects, she decided to follow her passion for nature and pursue a major in geography and environmental studies. Through her time in the Arts Cohort, she was exposed to the wide variety of opportunities campus has to offer. She decided to involve herself with undergraduate research, becoming an active Research Rookie. Through this program, she learned valuable lessons that influenced her to present her work at multiple conferences. In addition, she was invited to share her first-year experience with the senate of TRU. Though she is studying a scientific arts discipline, Lauren is creative at heart and spends most of her free time creating crafts, baking, or drawing in her sketchbook.

Waylon Miller (he/they)

Waylon is an indigenous queer student from the T’exelc nation, which is part of the Secwépemc nation. They are a second-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and aim to be active in the research aspects of psychology at Thompson Rivers University. This academic year, Waylon will guide and support students through the university life process as an Engagement Leader.
