Wesley Eccleston
Wesley has practiced theatre his entire life. He has trained and performed internationally, founded an independent company, governed non-profit organizations, taught at highschool and post secondary levels, as well as collaborated with significant theatre organizations in the region. Wesley presently instructs several theatre courses at TRU, including actor training, lecturing history and current practice, while also directing an annual production for the Actors Workshop Theatre over the last 26 years.
THTR 1000: Theatre Appreciation (page to stage) explores the essential practices of theatre with a focus on current and local performance. Students learn to value theatre maker processes, diversity of venues, and various production organizations.
